Jani Quirinale · CMT

Jani is a Certified Massage Therapist and a Monterey Peninsula native. After years away raising her son, she returned to the coast to build a quiet, hands-on practice rooted in Traditional Chinese & Taoist bodywork.

Her training spans Five Branches University (San Jose), Chi Nei Tsang University (Berkeley), and Medical Qi Gong through Sacred Path Medicine (Sedona, AZ). In session she blends myofascial release, gentle abdominal & visceral bodywork, and breath- and nervous-system–calming touch — a functional, mind-body approach that meets tension, stress and held emotion where the body actually holds them.

She opened her Carmel Valley practice in 2021. Jani works within a massage therapist's scope — complementary bodywork to help you feel easier and more settled, not a diagnosis or a substitute for medical care.

Practitioner workspace · evidence library

Toolkit

Your private space to develop the science behind each approach — what it is, the solution you deliver, an honest grade of the evidence, real references, and safety cautions. Build defensible healing plans here; the science you curate will be published to the client-facing pages when you're ready.

Practitioner tool

Plan Builder

Pick a client's goals; get a draft multi-session plan that maps each goal to evidence-graded modalities, a cadence, and home care. Edit before sharing — this is a starting point, not a prescription.

1 · Client goals

Select one or more goals, then generate a plan. Recommended modalities are pulled from the Toolkit tab so every suggestion has a stated evidence level.

Plan Builder Templates

Plans you build & save are archived here — use the toggle on each to choose whether clients can see it or it's just for you

TCM diagnostic library — TEN (Tongue · Eye · Nail) + Nan Jing pulse

Visual & pulse observation building blocks

The TEN method reads the tongue, eyes and nails as mirrors of Qi, Blood, Yin/Yang, fluids and organ function; the Nan Jing pulse method maps three positions (Cun · Guan · Chi) across three depths (Fu · Zhong · Chen) into nine diagnostic fields. Pull any of these into a client self-observation guide or a SOAP documentation template in the . Items marked SOAP-only stay in your notes and are never shown to clients.

+ Add your own observation to the library

Create a new finding under an existing area or a brand-new category, with a description and whether clients can see it. It appears in the library and the Plan Builder right away.

Treatment-plan building blocks

These are the levers a non-physician bodyworker can ethically combine into a plan. The Plan Builder assembles them per client.

In-session hands-on
  • Abdominal/colon-directed massage
  • Myofascial release
  • Manual lymphatic drainage
  • Acupressure / trigger-point work
  • Diaphragmatic & breath cueing
Between-session & cadence
  • Self-massage & home routines
  • Breathwork / nervous-system down-regulation
  • Hydration, movement & fiber lifestyle cues
  • Session frequency & tapering
  • Referral to MD / RD when indicated
All references (master list)
Evidence grades summarize published research at a glance and may simplify nuanced findings. They describe average results across studies, not a promise of individual outcomes, and do not constitute medical advice.

Assign a plan to a client

Search an existing client or create a new login, pick a saved plan, then assign — it's archived under their account and shows in their chart.

TCM observations

Build a client self-observation guide or a SOAP documentation template

Assemble observation items from the TEN + Nan Jing library (Toolkit). Clients never build these — you decide what to share. Items toggled SOAP-only stay in your notes and never appear in client guides.

Who is it for?

Observation items — tick to include; toggle the chip to keep an item SOAP-only

TCM observations templates

Client guides can be shared; SOAP templates insert into a chart
Plans are wellness/bodywork programs, not medical treatment. The builder will surface a refer-to-physician flag for goals or symptoms outside a massage therapist's scope. Saved plans live in this browser for the prototype; production stores them to the account.

1 · Start with the body map

Tell us where it lives in your body. Spin the figure, click any area that holds tension or pain, and add a quick note — your map saves automatically and reaches your practitioner before the visit.

Notes are saved on this device for the prototype and shown to your practitioner in their Cockpit. This is a wellness intake, not a diagnosis — anything urgent (severe or worsening pain, bleeding, a new lump, fever) should go to a physician first.
